Kihei Caffe (Maui Coast Hotel, Hawaii)

The Kihei Caffe at the Maui Coast Hotel is housed in a bright, open-air structure that reflects classic Hawaiian resort architecture. With its wide overhangs, natural materials, and strong indoor–outdoor connection, the building feels relaxed and breezy, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

Bower Development LLC, a Hawaii-based project development and construction management firm, led the build-out for the Kihei Caffe at the Maui Coast Hotel. Hewn supplied STK Cedar in Natural, used as accent paneling and cladding, to provide durable, warm wood textures that complement the overall resort aesthetic.
